Requirements

• Have a strong background in machine learning, with experience and expertise in personalized machine learning algorithms, especially recommender systems
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the areas: recommender systems, machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, NLP, content understanding or, multi-modal machine learning
• Strong programming skills in Python and a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiar with architecture and implementation of at least one mainstream machine learning programming framework (TensorFlow/ PyTorch/MXNet)
• ML: LightGBM, XGBoost, DVC, Weights & Biases
• Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• Datastores: Postgres, SQLite, S3, Elasticsearch
• Work in a cross-functional team of ML engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Backend & Frontend engineers who are passionate about their product
• Deploy ML model pipelines, scale through Big Data, optimize performance

Qualifications

• Technical education in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Masters’s degree or higher preferred).
• Product development experience in consumer-focused companies
• A Technical experience as a software developer, or a related role
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
